About the Company
TCS Design was an independently formed company in 2012. After returning from San Francisco after more than 8 years, there was a need to bring in a level of international design concepts to Kolkata.
Starting my practice with small offices and kids' rooms, it has now grown into turn-key projects for entire residences, retail stores and esteemed commercial spaces.
Born and brought up in Kolkata, during my college years with extra time on my hands, I started doing a course with Jenson and Nicholson. After my college and 1 year diploma course from Jenson & Nilcholson, I decided to pursue further education in Interior Design. Hence, I enrolled in Academy of Art college, San Francisco in 1999. I graduated in Masters in Interior Architechture and Design.
With an all-round knowledge till 2008, I returned to Kolkata and started my own practice.
Immediately landing an internship at one of most prestigious companies in Easy Bay Danville, Califormia, I started practicing high end residential design at J Hettinger Interiors. With immense exposure and valuable practice, the passion just kept growing and it diversified into the commercial field.
For three years from 2002 -2005, I started working with a commercial design based company handling turn-key office projects. Simultaneously, I started consulting for a firm specializing in hospitality design. I gained experience doing restaurants in the vibrant city of San Francisco with RED Designs.
It's been an interesting and busy journey with growing knowledge and experience that comes with every project.
